The Guideline Nova reel has a clean and innovative design. It is made from recycled parts and aluminium, which reduces its environmental impact: it is a natural choice for environmentally conscious fly fishermen.
According to the manufacturer, this reel is the first reel in the world to be made from recycled materials. This construction ensures the highest quality, best performance and, above all, greater durability.
The different Nova models are equipped with a special drag system with a variable number of carbon fibre and steel plates. The drag varies depending on the size of the reel and is adapted to the area of use. Other improvements include a new reinforced back plate that improves braking stability and, together with a new spring, ensures consistent braking force throughout the entire braking range. This mechanism embodies the new and unique Guideline design language. The elements include geometric shapes that are not possible on CNC machines. The surfaces and vertical bars also increase the stability and durability of the disc. The Guideline Nova disc is delivered in a recycled cardboard box with a central lid made of recycled 600D material. Spare parts are available for all three models.
